History
Colle Sereno was founded in 1975 by Dr. Mogavero in the commune of Petrella Tifernina located close to Molise's capital. Colle Sereno saw an opportunity, in those early days, to cultivate varieties that historically had not been indigenous to Molise, such as Falanghina.
This pioneering trend continues to this day as Colle Sereno now produces wines from a diverse assortment of varieties including Tintilia, Pinot Grigio, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay & Aglianico.
With vineyards split between three sites, each with their own conditions and benefits, Colle Sereno is able to offer something to please all palates.
