Sator, Cianfagna

Without a doubt one of our favourite red wines from the Molise region. A fantastic expression of the region’s native grape Tintilia. The story behind the wines name is almost as interesting as the wine itself.

The wine is a full-bodied red with rich flavours of black plums, dark cherries and forest fruits. The 14.5% alcohol is wonderfully balanced by the gentle tannins and intense flavours. All this is capped off by a long finish.

Few wines really benefit from being decanted and allowed to breath; however, this is a wine that does. We recommend decanting for an hour or two before drinking.
