Calidio, Campi Valerio

Montepulciano is a favourite variety of Ewa’s and mine, and out of all those produced, you’ll always find a bottle of Calidio on our wine rack.    Made from 100% Montepulciano, Antonio, from Campi Valerio has once again shown the high levels wines can reach in Molise. Medium to Full Bodied it has a ruby colour with a hint of garnet. Calidio leads with a mix of fruit flavours including red & black cherries, blackberries and bramble. With a soft and round palate, this is a perfect wine to pair with pasta covered in a thick Italian tomato sauce.    A Montepulciano that stands out from the crowd.
